Can Apple Store Fix Charging Port. My husband tried to charge my ipad Air with his Kindle charger in the process damaging the charging port. The technicians at all these locations receive Apple training.
Including AppleCare on Apple products with an active membership. Apple do not repair iPhones they can replace broken screens but only where the device has not sustained any dents or batteries provided they dont tear the tabs designed to remove the battery. The length of the guarantee the same like apple store provides.
This does not include accidental damage which requires a fee.
The price to repair the charging port on an iPhone 7 at a local repair shop is approximately 99. Apple have told me I will need to pay almost as much as for a new one for a replacement iPad and they will then repair mine and sell it. On newer phones the Apple Lightning connection is both the charge port and headphone jack. Tried the remove dust using safety pin technique and it worked beautifully.
